JRC - Sunday Group Run - 11 miles - Details
This morning the Jacksonville Running Company trail group was running at Tomahawk Park with a starting time of 9AM. Since I hadn't been to one of the road running group runs in a couple weeks I opted to run with the group that starts at the Tapestry Park store at 7AM.
Wow, what a crowd, I pulled into the parking lot at 6:50 and it was almost full. I don't know how many actually showed up but it two nice sized groups. Several of us started out with the 5 mile loop out to St. John's Town Center. I think a larger group did 1 or more laps of the 3 mile loop right in the Tapestry Park/Tinseltown area.
It seems like every week its a nice group of people with many different ability levels. Somehow the group leaders figure out a way to get everyone out there running, meeting new folks and having a good time, all while getting some exercise. I couldn't think of a better way to start my week.

Sounds like a lot of fun. It's always better to run with other folks. It makes the time go quicker. Great job on getting in the 2 hours.
