UNF Trail Run after Work - 2.8 miles - 7-11-2013 - Details
I got out to the University of North Florida for a short run after work on Thursday. I knew the temperatures were 90 or higher but figured that since the trails were shaded it wouldn't be to bad. Of course, at 90 degrees it was still hot and sticky.
On this run I included a portion of trail that I had not run on before. This was the green section that extends back to Surprise lake on the SW side of the park area. The green trail is not used much and I saw two good sized turtles out of the lake and on the side of the trail munching grass as I ran by.
I really intended to run a little farther but called it a day after 1 loop. I'll be back out there tomorrow morning.

Nice job getting in the run. It probably won't be 90 for the Eagle Creek Half but it could possibly feel that way. So getting in the humid run is good practice.
