Short run attempt after work by addickens at Garmin Connect - Details
I intended for this to be a 4 mile run after work and shortened it to 2 miles running and 2 miles walking (to home). I just started a 6 week self directed exercise program with the goal of at least 30 minutes cardio 6 days a week and 3 weight workouts a week. My last run had been on Sunday. I did 30 minute cross trainer sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday so I was ready to get back on the road.
Well, my legs were still heavy and sore from Tuesdays weight workout and with temps in the mid 80's I threw in the towel just after 2 miles.
I have the Phillippi Shores 7K tomorrow with Speedster Chuck so I am going to take today off with the hopes that I have my legs back by tomorrow.
