After my 11 miler last Sunday, my intention was to run 2 miles on Tuesday and Friday mornings before work and then finish the week out with a cross country run at Celery Fields park this morning. I was still sufficiently fatigued this past Monday evening that I skipped the Tuesday morning workout and opted for an extra hour of sleep instead.
Wednesday was a bike to work day. After a rest day on Thursday I was on the road early Friday morning for a 4.8 mile run before work. This morning's 5.5 mile effort at Celery Fields finished the week out with a total of 21.34 miles.
This past week was my 26th week of training for the Sunburst half marathon which is 6 short weeks from today. Miles ran since the 1st of the year topped 220 as of today.
